May 1st, the famous Romería de la Virgen del Valle takes place.
The most renowned festivity in Toledo is Corpus Cristi, with a procession carrying the extraordinary Custodia from XVI c., located at the Cathedral.
In August the traditional and popular festivities in honour of Virgen del Sagrario take place.
Other typical festivities taking place in towns surrouding Toledo are:
-Fiesta del Olivo at Mora de Toledo, last Sunday in April.
-San Isidro at Talavera, 15 to 18 May, processions, dancing and shows.
-Fiestas de Danzantes y Pecados at Camuñas, ancient traditional festivities with a highly symbolic character.
-Fiesta de la Amistad at Polan, middle of June.
-Fiesta de la Rosa de Azafrán at consuegra in November.
