Museum and Workshop of the Moor

The Museo Taller del Moro opened in 1963 when the Spanish State bought and restore the building.

This is the only non religious building dating from the first half of the XIV century that has been preserved in Toledo. A Mudejar palace, the tradition says it was used as a workshop for the craftsmen who built the cathedral. Today it is a museum of Arabian and Mudejar ceramics and tiles from the XIV and XV centuries. In one of the rooms there is an exhibition of handcrafted wood, especially the pieces used in dwellings like beams, joists, freizes, etc.

Opening Times: 10 to 14 and 16 to 18.30
Closed on Sunday afternoon and Monday.
Address: C/ Taller del Moro, s/n.
Contact Telephone : 925 224 500
