CONVENTO DE SANTO DOMINGO EL ANTIGUO This is one of the oldest convents in the city, dating back to 1085, having been rebuilt by King Alfonso VI, and includes a vast collection of paitings and altapieces. The original building dates back to visigothic times. Its church, dating back to XVI c., was completely decorated by El Greco, and still exhibits some of his paintings, and also from other important author like Eugenio Cagés, Sánchez Cotán, Correa de Vivar and Jucas Jordán.
