The building dates back to the late 15th century and early 16th century with its Plateresque facade, patio and staircase, the work of Covarrubias, and its Mudejar and Renaissance coffered ceilings. The museum has sections on Archaeology, Fine Arts and Decorative Arts. Amon its painting exhibits (15th century to 18th century), there is a collection by El Greco and his disciple, Luis Tristán.
OPening Times: Monday to Saturday, 10am-6.30pm. Sundays and public holidays, 10am-2pm. Closed: 1 January, 1 May and 25 December.
